This workshop focuses on the most pivotal skills a leader must have to be truly effective: a high degree of self-insight and the ability to communicate effectively on tough issues. The goals of this workshop are to develop and practice these skills, while also providing a powerful set of concepts and methods that participants can use to continue developing their skills after the workshop is over. Typically, all participants submit a written case prior to the workshop that illustrates a recurring or anticipated tough issue. In the workshop itself, participants work through these cases in small groups. They also complete various self-assessment exercises either individually or with a partner. Together, these cases and exercises create a high impact learning experience that greatly enhances participants’ self-insight and capacity for productive dialogue.
